Nokia Lumia 929 leaked with 5 inch display

Washington: Nokia’s upcoming flagship device Nokia Lumia 929 pops up online again, likely to hit US shores soon.

According to Phone Arena, the leaked device Lumia 929 feature a 5 inch screen with Verizon tag. This indicate that the device will going to be launch soon or later but with Verizon tag in US.

The device will go out to Europe and Australia afterwards. Phone Arena’s sources tell it that the launch date could land in mid-to-late December, which seems an odd time to launch a new phone but hey, we’re sure Nokia knows what its doing.

The handset’s 5-inch screen should make for a smaller-hand alternative to the 6.5-inch Lumia 1520.

Rumour has it that the 929 will come with a 20MP camera and a price tag of around $500 (£309 or AU$535 or thereabouts).

White Google Nexus 5 leaked, November 1 could be the launch date

Washington: As Google getting ready to introduce another flagship device Google Nexus 5, new image and release date leaked ahead of official launch.

The image is leaked by famous leak meister @evleaks, who have tweeted a photo in white variant and also indicate the November 1 launch.

We have reported earlier that the will be available on the Google Play Store by the end of this month, now new report claims the November 1 launch.

The Nexus 5 will be built by LG, just like the Nexus 4, and is expected to feature a 5-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 442 pixels per inch (ppi) and be the first device to launch with Android 4.4 KitKat. It is expected to be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. The handset will include an 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. The smartphone’s wireless capabilities are expected to include a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, and GPS. The Nexus 5 will be offered in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants and use a 2,300mAh battery.

Google hasn’t officially confirmed the existence of the Nexus 5, but the company accidentally posted a press image of the smartphone and its $349 starting price for the 16GB model before quickly removing it from the Play Store.

A white version of the Nexus 4 wasn’t forthcoming until some seven months after the black one went on sale, but @Evleaks implies a white Nexus 5 will be available at launch.

HTC One M8 Mini to launch in UK by May, report

London: HTC after successfully launching its flagship smartphone HTC One (M8), now company reportedly set to unveil its flagship mini smartphone HTC One (M8) mini by May in UK.

HTC’s newly-launched One M8 flagship smartphone is now on sale worldwide, but the company is apparently planning to launch an HTC One M8 Mini as well. The trend of launching a smartphone powerhouse as the flagship and then releasing a smaller version with mid-range specs as the “Mini” model of said flagship seems to be on the rise, and it doesn’t look like it will go away anytime soon. LG has just joined the party with its LG G2 Mini, and HTC is expected to follow its strategy from last year and launch an HTC One M8 Mini as well.

Just last week a Swedish carrier spilled the beans on the yet-to-be-announced HTC One M8 Mini by listing it along with several devices that support HD voice, and now we have some more information on the matter.

According to a new report from 3G.co.uk, the HTC One M8 Mini may be ready to hit the UK as soon as May. The publication claims to have learned this information from a trusted source, the same one who accurately predicted the launch of the Sony Xperia E1 in the country.

“Our source inside a UK retailer has confirmed that the HTC One M8 mini is coming and that it is scheduled to go on sale in May,” reports the publication. “They also confirmed that the HTC One M8 mini will incorporate its bigger brothers premium uni-body aluminum design, but the touch-screen display will be reduced to 4.5-inches. However, it’s still unclear whether it will run at a 1080p or 720p resolution.”

The aforementioned screen size of 4.5 inches diagonally would mark a 0.2 inch increase compared to last year’s HTC One Mini. The resolution is not clear at this point, but it’s safe to assume it will be at least 720p.

Mini versions of popular, high-end flagships have proved to be very popular among consumers, as they feature many of the most popular features found on their larger siblings, but packing them in a more compact design at a budget-friendly price tag.

The report further notes that the purported HTC One M8 Mini will not boast the dual rear camera system found on the original flagship, but will instead offer a regular rear camera setup with a single sensor. HTC has made no official announcements in this regards so far, but an HTC One M8 Mini is expected to debut soon.

Dual-screen YotaPhone coming to European countries

London: After the successive launch of Dual screen Yota Phones now company is heading towards Europe launch.

According to report that the YotaPhone is now heading towards UK launch early in 2014. The device, which comes with a screen on the back as well as a screen on the front, you’ll have to pick one up in Russia, Austria, France, Spain or Germany.

YotaPhone runs on Android and comes with a standard 4.3-inch 720p LCD screen on the front and another 4.3-inch e-ink screen on the back. The idea being that it’s perfect for ebook reading.

The other major benefit of an e-ink screen is that it can display images and information even if the phone runs out of battery – we can think of a few times having a saved map that we could still see when our phones died could have saved our bacon.

The YotaPhone also prides itself on its touchy-feely emotional approach, kooky messages like “Smile for the camera” come up on the second screen when you’re taking a picture, for example. It’s not clear if these can be disabled or not.

And this is just the beginning, the company’s head honchos say: “This is YotaPhone 1.0. Expect other big and new things to follow.”

If the first YotaPhone takes your fancy, pricing has been announced as €499 across Europe – likely to be around £420 in the UK, and $680 and AU$750 if it makes it round the world.
